Principal at Natural Gardens, Ben studied Industrial Design at UNSW, then later discovered Permaculture while WWOOFing in 2011. This led to further study, the Diploma of Permaculture in Melbourne, before he moved to the Bega Valley to develop his family farm using the permaculture principles.

He has been using experience and innovation to design and construct gardenscapes and grow food for the past 15 years, and has been developing his professional design process since 2018.
